At Strategic we offer a system assist brokerage service where you select the trading systems you would like to trade and we manage the trading for you on your account.
Your account is opened and held with Interactive Brokers via an Advisor Account structure. This links your trading account held with Interactive Brokers to our Master Account which then enables us (SCM) to place orders on your account on your behalf. All trades executed on your account utilise the award winning trading systems you select to trade when opening an account to determine when to enter and when to exit a trade.
Please note that all funds and banking is done directly with Interactive Brokers. The only fees you will be charged are the brokerage, performance or account management fees you agree to in your account opening documentation. Your counter-party risk (risk of default through broker collapse) is with Interactive Brokers, not SCM. We beleive Interactive Brokers and the advisor account structure offers our clients security and transparency.

Currently we offer futures trading systems across many different asset classes including stock indices, currencies, bonds and commodities with plans to offer options, forex and stock/ETF systems in the future.
To open an account please follow the steps below:

Once you have contacted us via the above form we will send you 2 Emails.
The First Email will include an Invitation to open the Account Online via Interactive Brokers.
The Second Email will include the NZX Disclosures, Power of Attorney and a Letter of Direction (in one document) which need to be signed separately authorising SCM to manage your account utilising the selected trading systems.

Step 3
Your account with Interactive Brokers will be opened online and all correspondence is to be directed to Interactive Brokers for this part of the application.
The signed NZX document, Power of Attorney and Letter of Direction can be scanned and emailed back to the below email address, couriered or posted which ever is easier.
